  • Kufa na Kupona - The phrase directly translates to "death and healing" in Swahili, but it's used as an expression meaning “by all means necessary."

In this 4-hour participatory performance, the artist draws from personal sorrow to create a shared space for reflection, support and resilience. Together, we will sew pieces of paper into a "paper quilt," each stitch symbolizing the fragile yet powerful act of mending our hearts and helping others through grief. This collaborative creation embodies the tender, often painstaking process of reassembling ourselves and supporting one another in times of loss.

  • Frankfurt Art Experience:

Since 2019, we have been inviting the art-interested public to discover the Frankfurt art and gallery scene for themselves at the late summer season opener - Germany's oldest gallery weekend. The 30th season opener will be held for the fifth time under the umbrella of the Frankfurt Art Experience on the weekend of September 6-8.

    Basis Sommerschau:

On September 7th and 8th, the production and exhibition platform basis e. V. opens its doors! During this weekend, basis Sommerschau invites you to get to know the multifaceted activities of basis e. V., including the artists supported by basis, the curated exhibition space and the various international exchange programmes.
